Description
English: Fleuron from book:
The British compendium: or, rudiments of honour: wherein are contain'd, the genealogy, titles, Posts, Marriages, Inter-Marriages, Issue, Publick Transactions, and Names of the Seats of all the present nobility of England. Likewise their coats of arms, Supporters, Crests, Motto's, Coronets, and the peers in their robes; all curiously engrav'd on an Hundred and Twenty Copper-Plates. To which is added an introduction to heraldry. With the addition of all the supporters, Crests, and Motto's, which are not in any former impression ; and their Blazon, as they are painted on their Coaches.
