Description |
English: Map of geohazards on the Seward Peninsula. Cenozoic volcanic rocks are identified, as are public shelter cabins. The National Park Service boundary is delineated in green. The map shows the location of Cenozoic volcanic rocks (light and dark pink), public shelter cabins (blue symbols and labels), towns (white dots and black labels), and slopes greater than 30° (shown in red). All Cenozoic volcanic rocks are shown in pink, with the Lost Jim lava flow shown in dark pink. Two volcanic fields exist in the preserve: the Espenberg volcanic field and the Imuruk volcanic field. The Teller volcanic field is to the west of the preserve. The preserve’s boundary is shown in green. |
