Description
English: Maj. Gen. Tracy Thompson, commanding general, 412th Theater Engineer Command, meets with Gen. Vincent Brooks, commanding general, U.S. Army Pacific, during this year's Ulchi Freedom Guardian Exercise to discuss theater security cooperation and a range of topics relevant to Army Reserve engineering support in the Pacific Rim, Aug. 25, 2014 at the USARPAC headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. As the Army Reserve's theater engineer in the Pacific, the 412th deployed approximately 80 Soldiers to Korea, Japan and Hawaii to provide engineering expertise and other support functions during Ulchi Freedom Guardian and in support of mission requirements for Eighth Army, U.S. Forces Korea and U.S. Army Pacific.
