Tophaceous gout affecting the arms and hands
Description

Black and white photograph of the arms and hands of a man aged 50, showing large tophi of sodium urate affecting the elbow, knuckle and finger joints. The joints of the legs were affected in the same manner. The first attack of gout occurred 27 years previously.
