Deutsch: Ein Panavia Tornado IDS (44+18) des Jagdbombergeschwaders 31 (JaboG 31) "Boelcke" der Luftwaffe landet am 28. März 1984 auf der Autobahn A 29 nahe dem Autobahnkreuz Alhhorn (Niedersachsen). Dieses Teilstück der A 29 war ein Autobahn-Notlandeplatz, der im Ernstfall innerhalb von 24 Stunden als Flugplatz hätte hergerichtet werden können. Vor der Eröffnung wurde das Teilstück der A 29 1984 im Rahmen der NATO-Übung „Highway 84“ für 48 Stunden in Betrieb genommen.
English: A Panavia Tornado IDS (s/n 44+18) from Jagdbombergeschwader 31 (JaboG 31) "Boelcke" (31st Fighter-Bomber Wing) of the German Lufwaffe (Air Force) after landing the German Autobahn (interstate highway) A 29 near Ahlhorn, Lower Saxony (Federal Republic of Germany), on 28 March 1984. This part of the A 29 was a NATO emergency airstrip which was used for 48 hours as such during the "Highway 84" excercise, before it was officially opened for traffic. |
