English: This short is about memory, journey and baggage.
Travelling Light is a short stop motion film I worked on over two months during my penultimate semester in Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. It started as an exercise in creating a stop motion scene shot at 24 frames/sec, until... I realized stop motion was way too much fun to stop right there. So it then escalated into this (relatively) large scale production. I shot for just over 20 days, by the end of it, I had around 13,000 frames of RAW footage. I've been entirely thrilled with every step of the process, be it scripting, storyboarding, production design, character design, camera rig setup, lighting setup and post-production. Vojaĝanta Malluma (Travelling Light) estas mallonga haltomovo filmo mi laboris je du monatoj dum mia antaŭlasta semestro en Sriŝtio Skolo de Arto, Desgno kaj Teknologio (Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology). Ĝi startis kiel ekzerco en kreinta haltomovo sceno pafita je 24 kadroj en sekundo, ĝis...mi konsciis haltomovo estis vojo tro multa amuza al halti ĝusta tien. Do ĝi tiam levita en tio ĉi (relative) granda skalo produktado. Mi pafis por justa je 20 tagoj, je la fino de ĝi, mi havis ĉirkaŭ 13,000 kadroj de KRUDA filmo. Mi estis tute ravis kun ĉio paŝo de la progreso, esti ĝi scenaristo, scenarplano, produktado desegno, karaktero desegno, kamerao agordo, lumigo agordo kaj postproduktado. Pli en la progreso baldaŭ. |
