Description

No período de 16 a 25/10, a Marinha do Brasil (MB) realizará um treinamento voltado para as Operações de Paz, em Itaoca, no Espírito Santo. O Exercício, com mais de 700 militares, possui o propósito de contribuir para a manutenção do grau de prontidão das capacidades da Marinha, inseridas no Sistema de Prontidão das Capacidades para a Manutenção da Paz da ONU (UNPCRS, sigla em inglês), de acordo com compromissos assumidos com o Ministério da Defesa (MD) e a ONU. Durante o treinamento, a Marinha desdobrará tropas de Fuzileiros Navais em diferentes configurações, como uma Companhia de Quick Reaction Force (QRF), um Pelotão de Desativação de Artefatos Explosivo (Pel EOD, sigla em inglês) e um Batalhão de Infantaria de Força de Paz (BtlInfFPaz). Os militares executarão atividades típicas de Operações de Paz, como patrulhamento, escolta de comboios, controle de distúrbios, cerco e vasculhamento e estabelecimento de postos de controle de trânsito, dentre outras. No dia 20/10 ocorrerá o Media Day e as atividades estarão

abertas para cobertura jornalística.
