Summary[edit]

Description

(1 in a multiple picture album) At first glance Tuolumne Meadows looks like a flat, grassy meadow but when you take a short walk, to the river of the same name which runs through it, you find the real beauty of the place.

Here Fairview Dome and some of the forest is reflected in the bend of the river. It is always peaceful and quiet here without the crowds which detract from the more popular valley below.
