Structure of a tyre
1 - belts (tread plies), 2 - tread cap, 3 - tread base (tread cushion), 4 - tread ply wedge (decoupling rubber), 5 - belt cushion (tread ply insert), 6 - sidewall rubber, 7 - innerliner, 8 - carcass, 9 - bead filler, 10 - steelcord chafer (bead reinforce), 11 - sidewall filler, 12 - bead wrap, 13 - bead core filler, 14 - bead bundle, 15 - abrasion gum strip (rubber chafer).
I - tread area, II - sidewall area, III - bead area, IV - shoulder area, V - tread center area, VI - bead heel, VII - bead toe, VIII - bead base.

A - centerline, B - the widest point of the section, H - section height, S - section width, h - diameter of the widest point, d - bead seat diameter
