ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 2, 2012) Aviation Boatswain’s Mates (Handling) Airmen Lauren Waters, left, Ryan Shaffer, and Robert Reyes run toward the foul line after removing chocks and chains from an MH-65D Dolphin helicopter assigned to Coast Guard Squadron (CG) 65 on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). For prudent planning, the Navy has begun to preposition Wasp, USS San Antonio (LPD 17), and USS Carter Hill (LSD 50) for primary assistance in the affected Northeast region if required by FEMA following the devastation brought on by Hurricane Sandy. San Antonio and Carter Hall got underway Oct. 31 from Norfolk, Va., and began transiting north to the affected areas on Nov. 1. (U.S. Navy photo by Seaman Andrew B.
