Image title | On 17 October 2006, Corporal Codie D. Carver, 21, a combat engineer with Engineer Company, Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) and a native of Salt Lake City, sprays road adhesive while engaging in a route repair mission in Combat Outpost Falcon, Iraq. Accomplishing much-needed improvements, the Marines worked hard and successfully provided a face lift to the outpost. The facilities currently house infantry Marines with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, 1st Marine Division. 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) is in support of I MEF (FWD) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi Reconstruction.
