Description
English: Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrew J. Bradley, a corpsman with the Embedded Partnering Team, Combat Logistics Battalion 8, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), demonstrates how to properly tie a tourniquet during a combat life saver course April 5, 2011, at Forward Operating Base Delaram, Afghanistan. Eleven Afghan National Army soldiers from the 5th Kandak graduated from the latest combat life saver course during a ceremony June 5, 2011, at FOB Delaram. The course consisted of 40 hours of classroom instruction and 20 hours of practical application in the areas of abdominal injuries, controlled bleeding, airway management and job-shadowing with the Shock Trauma Platoon.
