Description
English: U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, U.S. Space Command commander, speaks with U.K. Royal Air Force Air Marshal Harvey Smith, Director of the Space Directorate in the U.K.’s Ministry of Defence, at Space Symposium 38 in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 20, 2023. USSPACECOM prioritizes strengthening and expanding relationships that help maintain a safe, secure, and sustainable space environment for all. Space Symposium is an opportunity for spacefaring nations and sectors of the space enterprise to promote dialogue and focus attention on critical space issues. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
