English: 231023-N-TP834-1009 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 23, 2023) U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Michael Morrissey, Director of U.S. Space Command’s strategy, plans and policy directorate, signs a Space Situational Awareness Data Sharing Agreement with Qatari Maj. Gen. Abdulaziz Al Doseri, Advisor to Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs for Space and Telecommunications, at USSPACECOM in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Oct. 23, 2023. During the visit, USSPACECOM signed a Space Situational Awareness data sharing agreement with the Qatar Armed Forces, which authorizes the exchange of information and enhances the safety, stability, security, and sustainability of space for all. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
