Description ARABIAN GULF (Dec. 31, 2014) – An Army Apache helicopter attached to 4th Battalion 501st Aviation Regiment rests on the flight deck of the dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45). Comstock is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
