Summary[edit]

Description
English: BAGHDAD - Sgt. Alberto Najera, an aviation operations specialist, from Long Beach, Calif., scores a run during a softball tournament celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 24. "It [the celebration] makes me feel good as a Hispanic; it's good the Army supports and recognizes different heritages," said Najera, who is assigned to Alpha Company, Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. "[The softball tournament] has been good downtime from 12 hour days, seven days a week, it gets your mind off work and theater."
