Summary[edit]

Description
English: Kuwait (May 7, 2003) -- Storekeeper Seaman Virginio Torres from Orlando, Fla., assigned to Beach Master Unit Two (BMU-2) signals "Hopper 67" at a naval base in Kuwait. The Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) is assigned to Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU-4). The LCACs are the primary means of transportation for all the heavy equipment being back-loaded to USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) and the other amphibious assault ships. Kearsarge is on deployment in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
