English: Naval Support Activity, Manama, Bahrain (Feb. 3, 2004) - Emergency Response Team (ERT) Member Builder 2nd Class Mike Elyea, assigned to Naval Support Activity's (NSA) Public Works Department, ascends the wall of the Naval Support Activity barracks. The voluntary emergency response team trains personnel for rescues, in the event of bombings, building collapses, hazardous material spills and first response medical assistance. The teams practice skills in repelling, ascension, and decontamination. They work very closely with the Bahraini fire and rescue departments.
