English: Atlantic Ocean (June 22, 2004) - Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Lamont Lizandro, from San Jose, Calif., preps the wing of an F/A-18B Hornet assigned to the “Rampagers” of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Three (VFA-83) prior to applying the squadron’s colors. Kennedy is one of seven aircraft carriers involved in the Summer Pulse 2004 Exercise. Summer Pulse 2004 is the simultaneous deployment of seven aircraft strike groups (CSG's), demonstrating the ability of the Navy to provide credible combat across the globe, in five theaters with other U.S., allied, and coalition military forces.
