English: Pacific Ocean (Sept. 1, 2004) – The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) prepares to pull alongside the Military Sealift Command (MSC) replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) to begin an underway replenishment (UNREP). The UNREP between the two ships takes about three hours and consists of the transfer of fuel and supplies to the Lincoln.
