English: Arabian Gulf (Sept. 17, 2004) - Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Willie McArthur assigned to the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67), observes a replenishment at sea (RAS) with the fast combat support ship USS Seattle (AOE 3) in the Arabian Gulf. Kennedy and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Seventeen (CVW-17) are operating in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Units in the Kennedy Carrier Strike Group (CSG) are working closely with Multi-National Corps-Iraq and Iraqi forces to bring stability to the sovereign government of Iraq.
