English: Jacksonville, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2004) – Retired Capt. Dale Snodgrass speaks to children from the "Starbase" program at the Florida Air National Guard Base in Jacksonville, Fla. The Starbase program targets at-risk youth from local category one public schools and teaches math, science and technology in a fun hands-on environment. Capt. Snodgrass was the first to be selected for F-14 Tomcat training and went on to become the first non-fleet experienced pilot to carrier qualify in the F-14.
