English: Persian Gulf (Jan. 11, 2005) – Ripples appear on the body of an E-2C Hawkeye, assigned to the "Seahawks" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Six (VAW-126), due to the tremendous amount of torque and pressure exerted on the aircraft while landing on the flight deck aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) are providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions over Iraq.
