English: Souda Bay, Crete, Greece (May 20, 2005) - Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Gen. James L. Jones, responds to reporters' questions during a press conference at the conclusion of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and the Military Committee (MC) Sea Day Exercise. The exercise involved vessels from Greece, Turkey, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and the United States that are currently assigned to Standing North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Response Force Maritime Group Two. The event was held to provide an indication of the capabilities of these permanent naval assets that recently have been integrated into the NATO Response Force (NRF) and that form the core of the antiterrorist Operation Active Endeavor.
