English: Persian Gulf (Sept. 21, 2005) - An F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the “Red Devils” of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron Two Three Two (VMFA-232), makes an arrested landing on the flight deck aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment and is participating in Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations.
