The camp will allow FEMA officials to move from Belle Chasse Primary School so school officials can expedite getting the school open for students. The Navy’s involvement in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations are led by the Federal Emergency management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
