Description
English: Pacific Ocean (Oct. 25, 2005) - Aviation Boatswain Mate 2nd Class Paul Young directs an F/A-18E Super Hornet, assigned to the “Royal Maces” of Strike Fighter Squadron Two Seven (VFA-27), aboard the conventionally powered aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). While at sea, Kitty Hawk and Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG-5) will participate in an annual exercise with the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force.
