    English: Pacific Ocean (Nov. 29, 2005) - Combat Direction Center (CDC) watch standers plot a chart during a general quarters (GQ) drill held aboard the conventionally powered aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). The operational nerve center of Kitty Hawk, CDC collects and processes data received from a wide variety of sources and disseminates the data to other parts of Kitty Hawk for use in deploying weapon systems and ships in the carrier strike group. Kitty Hawk and embarked Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) are currently conducting operations in the Western Pacific Ocean. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Airman Kyle D. Gahlau (RELEASED)
