English: South China Sea (June 7, 2006) - 1st Sgt. Adrian Tay from the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and Machinist's Mate 3rd Class Scott Gee are lowered into the water on the stage from the side of rescue and salvage ship USS Salvor (ARS 52) during the Singapore phase of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2006. RSN and U.S. Navy divers paired up and dived together throughout the diving exercise. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the U.S. and six Southeast Asia nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
