Description
English: ANNAPOLIS, Md. (May 17, 2007) – Midshipman 4th Class Jamie Schrock celebrates victory at the U.S. Naval Academy’s annual Herndon Climb. This event symbolizes the successful completion of the midshipmen’s freshman year. The Naval Academy freshmen, or “plebes,” must use teamwork, strategy and communication to climb to the top of the 21-foot obelisk and replace the traditional plebe cover with a midshipman’s cover.
