English: ARABIAN SEA (July 10, 2007) - Airman Recruit John Croft plays guitar and sings during a battle of the bands in the hanger bay aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The battle of the bands is part of fun days, sponsored by supply department's morale, welfare and recreation division. The day gives Sailors and Marines time to relax and have fun doing a variety of activities. Stennis is on a scheduled deployment in the 5th Fleet area of operations supporting ground forces in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of maritime operations.
