English: SINGAPORE (19 July 2007) – A Singapore navy sailor interacts with an intellectually disabled adult at a Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) training and development center. This community interaction project is part of the Singapore stage of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2007. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and six Southeast Asia nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces. |
