Haasenritter, assigned to the 7th Fleet Band's contemporary music ensemble "Orient Express," interacts with children during a joint performance with the Indonesian Eastern Fleet and Naval Base bands and the Purwacaraka Music School at Supermall 21. The joint music event, Musik Persabuhatan, or music friendship, is part of a Naval Engagement Activity (NEA) between the United States and Indonesia. The NEA is part of an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and several Southeast Asian nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
