English: BAHRAIN (Dec. 8, 2008) R. Lee Ermey, a retired Marine Corps gunnery sergeant and actor, left, signs an autograph for Lance Cpl. Jay Clayton, assigned to U.S. 3rd Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team Company, 4th Platoon, at the Freedom Souq gymnasium at U.S. Naval Support Activity Bahrain. Ermey, best known for his role as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in the 1987 film "Full Metal Jacket" and as host of the popular History Channel program "Mail Call," was at NSA Bahrain during a visit to Navy Region Southwest Asia to deliver gift packages for the Commander, Navy Installations Command-sponsored Holiday Gift Box Program. More than 10,000 holiday gift boxes were delivered to forward-deployed service members serving in support of operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
