(Dec. 11, 2008) Steel Worker Constructionman Apprentice Isaiah Halverson scans the tree line during an enemy small arms assault on his position during a field training exercise at Fort Hunter Liggett. During the exercise xercise Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 faced simulated chemical, biological, and radiological missile attacks as well as guerilla warfare. The exercises tests the battalion's readiness for deployment by placing the unit in a simulated conflict while Seabees complete realistic missions.
