Description
English: PACIFIC OCEAN (July 7, 2009) Ens. John Guzman uses an azimuth circle aboard the guided-missile frigate USS Kauffman (FFG 59) during leapfrog exercises with the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Manchester (D 95), not pictured, off the coast of Peru. Kauffman is on a four-month deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean supporting Southern Seas 2009 as part of the Southern Command-led Partnership of the Americas mission focusing on strengthening relationship in the Southern Command area of Focus.
