English: VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Aug. 17, 2010) Damage Controlman Fireman Ben Vangen, top, and Damage Controlman 1st Class Kenneth N. Alexander, both assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), add a handrail to the front steps of the Samaritan House in Virginia Beach, Va., as part of the ship's "1,000 Points of Light" community service event. Nearly 2,000 George H.W.
