Description
Svenska: Runsten (U 258), på 1600-talet inmurad i Fresta kyrka. Under 1700-talet murades stenen in bakom en tornvägg, och var därför dold. 1940 togs stenen fram och är nu uppställd på norra sidan av kyrktornet.

Ur Collectaneum Monumentale Runicum. Aschaneus avbildning saknar en detalj i mitten.

Inskrift: "Gunnar och Sassur de läto resa denna sten efter Gerbjörn, sin fader, som av Vitkarl i Svalnäs(?). Honom dråpo norrmän på Åsbjörns skepp."

I Sveriges runinskrifter. Bd 6, Upplands runinskrifter, D. 1, 1940-1943, omnämns en "dålig och ofullständig bläckteckning" av Aschaneus.
