Ulysses S Grant National Historic Site is located in Missouri and was added to the Network in 2019. This site preserves the home of Ulysses S. Grant, who served as President of the United States for much of the Reconstruction era and oversaw the passage and implementation of federal legislation designed to protect formerly enslaved people.
