Description The Umpqua River Lighthouse was constructed between 1892 and 1894 to aid in navigation around the mouth of the Umpqua River in Oregon. It replaced an earlier lighthouse which collapsed into the river in 1864. The lighthouse is open to the public via regularly scheduled tours.
