Description
English: Unknown dragonfly exuvia, Leesylvania State Park, Woodbridge, Virginia. I took a Dragonfly exuvia class/field trip with Richard Orr (who is THE BEST dragonfly person EVER) last weekend. Until the class, I had never found a dragonfly exuvia on my own. I spent 45 minutes today searching the banks of Powells Creek in Leesylvania State Park before noticing this on a bush about 5 feet above the water (low tide). I don't think this is one that it is in the key we received in the class - this was in slow-flowing, almost pond-like water.
