Sea Devil, Sea Dog, Sea Dragon, and Sea Fox are all armed with a gyro-stabilized remote control machine gun, because they help massive nuclear submarines enter and leave harbor. It is an extra weapon, more accurate than those their sister ships mount, because the subs are seen as vulnerable to the kind of suicide bombers who attacked the USS Cole.
