| Description |
Deutsch: Das Spielmannskreuz in Hinterberg, Gemeinde Unterweißenbach, erinnert an einen Flötenspieler, der hier vor 400 Jahren von einer Schlange gebissen und tot umgefallen sein soll. Man hielt dies für eine Strafe Gottes, da man ihm selbige auch gewünscht hat, nachdem er die Kirchgeher durch sein Flötenspiel davon abgehalten hatte, pünktlich zur Messe zu erscheinen. Als Gotteslästerer bekam er kein Grab am Friedhof, sondern wurde an Ort und Stelle begraben. 1996 wurden bei der Versetzung des Bildstocks Knochen freigelegt, die die Vermutung, dass sich die Sage real so zugetragen hat, unterstützen. Eine im Bildstock eingemeißelte Flöte erinnert an den Spielmann. |
