Description
English: Transport of arginine through AdiC. The successive steps of the migration of arginine describing the transport cycle are shown on the left. A selected single trajectory depicting each step is illustrated on the right. The protein is shown as a white cartoon and the residues found to be essential for the transport are depicted as sticks. The Arg+ substrate is shown as van-der-Waals spheres. The position of the binding site is highlighted with an orange frame.
