Le bureau publiait des manuels, des cartes et un bulletin mensuel pour diffuser des informations relatives à la promotion du commerce entre les pays des Amériques. La carte montre les frontières internationales avec le Brésil et l'Argentine, les principaux villages et villes, les provinces et les frontières provinciales, les chemins de fer, les câbles télégraphiques sous-marins, les rivières navigables et les itinéraires des compagnies de navigation depuis la capitale et le port de Montevideo vers d'autres ports en Amérique du Sud, en Europe et aux États-Unis. L'échelle est indiquée à la fois en kilomètres et en miles terrestres. La carte est conservée à la Bibliothèque Colomb de l'Organisation des États Américains, organisation ayant succédé au Bureau international des Républiques américaines et à l'Union panaméricaine.
English: This map of Uruguay was published by the International Bureau of the American Republics (instituted in 1910 as the Pan American Union), an agency established in 1890 in Washington D.C., by resolution of the International Conference of American States. The bureau published handbooks, maps, and a monthly bulletin for disseminating information relating to the promotion of trade among the countries of the Americas. The map shows international borders with Brazil and Argentina, major cities and towns, provinces and provincial borders, railroads, undersea telegraph cables, navigable rivers, and the route of steamship lines from the capital and port of Montevideo to other ports in South America and to Europe and the United States. The scale is in both kilometers and statute miles. The map is held in the Columbus Memorial Library of the Organization of American States, successor organization of the International Bureau of the American Republics and the Pan American Union.

A secretaria publicou guias, mapas e um boletim mensal para disseminar as informações relacionadas com a promoção do comércio entre os países das Américas. O mapa mostra as fronteiras internacionais com o Brasil e Argentina, as principais cidades e vilas, províncias e fronteiras provinciais, ferrovias, cabos submarinos de telégrafo, rios navegáveis e a rota de linhas de navios a vapor da capital e porto de Montevidéu para outros portos da América do Sul, Europa e Estados Unidos. A escala é dada tanto em quilômetros quando em milhas estatutárias.
