Description
English: Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) VH-VBB/A4-234 De Havilland Canada DHC-4A Caribou c/n 234. Delivered to RAAF Auguat 1965. Served with 35 Squadron in Vietnam March 1970 to February 1972. Was in service 38 Squadron. Retired to storage Oakey, QLD 7 September 2009 and was awaiting disposal. Acquired along with A4-210 and 6 semi trailer loads of spare parts by HARS on September 2011. Intended to fly for another 20 years as the "Vietnam Veterans Memorial Flight". Departed Oakey 2 November 2011 for Albion Park, NSW and registered VH-VBB on the 8 November 2011. Registration holder and operator as of 8 November 2011 is Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Inc - Day 1 Avalon 2013 Australian International Airshow. File: VH-VBB_YMAV_20130226_7765
