Summary[edit]
DescriptionVarious professional haircutting scissors from different companies, some hand-forged like a Samurai sword and costing up to about 2.000 USD.jpg |
English: Various professional haircutting scissors from different companies. Some (No. 2, 3, and 4 from left) are from the Japanese "high end" company Mizutani. No. 3 in the row is hand-forged in a process which is (in principal) similar to the one with which Samurai swords were/are made. This technique resembles the widely known processes for Damascus steel (cf. the characteristical irregular lines on the blade), and those scissors cost up to more than 2.000 US-Dollars. |
