Description
Nederlands: Voltooid in 2006 en gelegen aan de Vestdijk/Smalle Haven. Opdrachtgever was vastgoedonderneming Vesteda. Het gebouw toont een sterke gelijkenis met het Flatiron Building in New York, zowel qua hoogte als qua vorm. Dit bouwwerk was de eerste wolkenkrabber in New York en heeft dezelfde karakteristieke ronde, puntige vorm. Een wezenlijk verschil is echter dat de Vesteda Toren een ruitvorm heeft en het Flatiron Building het slechts met één helft van deze vorm moet doen: een driehoek. In juni 2007 kregen de ontwerpers van Jo Coenen & Co Architekten de prijs "BNA-gebouw van het jaar" in Regio Zuid. Hoogte 90m, 28 verdiepingen, woontoren.
