Description
English: Original photographer unknown. One of first cabins in Seattle was built by Carson D. Boren on a land claim in 1852. It was built of split cedar puncheon where the two-story building is seen. The land was later sold to W. N. Bell who constructed the house seen in this photograph. This was later the site for the Hoge Building.
