  • Detail: Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, visited Arlington National Cemetery, Nov. 6, 2014 to pay respect at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I. Princess Anne participated in an Army Full Honors Wreath Ceremony at the Tomb. After the wreath ceremony, the she presented a bronze plaque to the cemetery with the names of the four Victoria Cross recipients that were U.S. citizens (all of whom were serving with Canadian Forces): Captain Bellenden Seymour Hutcheson, Sergeant Raphael Louis Zengel, Sergeant George Mullin, Lance Corporal William Henry Metcalf. A fifth Victoria Cross was awarded to the World War I Unknown Soldier.
